Working in San Diego, CA, Jeff leads A.B. Data’s west coast business development efforts. Jeff has more than 26 years of legal experience, including serving as a law clerk to two judges and as a Judge Pro Tem in southern California. Through his experience, Jeff has vast knowledge of the California and Federal legal systems.
Since 1994, Jeff had been with the Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP and its predecessors, having served as Partner from 2005 to 2018 and Of Counsel beginning in 2018. Jeff has successfully litigated and settled class action cases with total recoveries in excess of $1 billion, including In re Qwest Communications Int’l, Inc. Sec. Litig., In re Currency Conversion Fee Antitrust Litig., In re VeriFone Holdings, Inc. Sec. Litig., and Louisiana Mun. Police Ret. Sys. v. KPMG, LLP. As a partner, Jeff’s practice focused on negotiating, documenting, and obtaining court approval of complex class action settlements. Jeff’s efforts have rewarded him by being included on the list of Top Lawyers in San Diego by San Diego Magazine every year since 2013.
Jeff will use his litigation and settlement experience at A.B. Data to help navigate the class action administration process with A.B. Data’s clients to meet their needs. Jeff will also be traveling to conferences throughout the year and looks forward to meeting clients and potential clients at these events. Jeff is a licensed attorney in California and obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from San Diego State University and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law.
